the steeple the steeple

The streets were empty
When I witnessed the people
Falling deep into the silence
Of the things they had done.
So I, being lonely, closed my eyes
Because in the grand scheme of vanity
One of them was bound to hit the steeple.
And I knelt down before the providence
For my forever had already begun.
It was the saddest of the goodbyes.

beautiful waiting to be inspired

yeah it really is something. I think I'd be happy to die if I could be even just a one hit person you know... for a song or a book or a poem or something.. just one... one that will last @@

yeah me too.. i think i'm ready for it.. i just need to be inspired greatly.. waiting for that moment.. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. and so far, it hasn't worked too well..

This is a memoir of an extraordinary between two seemingly ordinaries entwined by adagio for strings in the background.

a coin toss... page 206 of struck by lightning by rosenthal

(the very next sentence)

Unfortunately, we don't always re-evaluate our probabilities correctly.

Really?? But but but... sigh... I knew it was too good to believe. As much as I hate to admit it, this, too, is very insightful and makes total sense.

This makes me want to cry like a little child, who just lost a bet on a coin toss.
